Year ender part II (Tagaytay and taal volcano)

From a death-tifying space shuttle ride in Enchanted kingdom, we went straight to Tagaytay and tried their famous bulalo and it was the best bulalo I've ever tasted! No bluff! It exceeded my expectations and more!

It was a chilly Sunday morning in Tagaytay. We left the hotel 6am to go on a trek to taal volcano, the smallest active volcano in the philippines. We had a quick heavy breakfast while waiting for our tour guide. We left around 7 am and arrived in their li'l port going to taal at around 7:45 and took a 30 minute boat ride crossing a huge lake. When we got there we were offered to take the horse back riding going to the top of the volcano, since it was my sister in law's second trip, she decided to trek together with my husband. Unfortunately on my part, my fear got the best of me, plus the dusty and hot weather I decided to take the horse back riding. It was a rough trail, quite long and scary actually. I was just so glad to arrive on top safely.. The view is breathtaking! Even better than the photoshopped post cards. There's a lot of souvenir items at around 150-200 pesos you can find there and Fresh Buko at 50 pesos. The horse would usually cost you one thousand pesos. But on our part we only got it for 600 each, since I think those horses were not registered(colorum). Lol. We went back to tagaytay lunch time. We had lunch at this really cozy coffee shop/Resto named bag of beans and head back to Manila after..=)

Year ender part I (Enchanted kingdom)

It's December already! So as I've promised, another year end vacation with the husband and our fave travel buddy, my sister-in-law who's as thrill seeker as we are! Our first stop was in Enchanted kingdom! Since its a Saturday, people are just everywhere, all the lines from the rides to the food stalls to the comfort room was crazy crowded. It took us roughly 3 hours to ride the famous space shuttle. But it was all worth it! It was super duper intense. Left at around 9pm going to Tagaytay and arrived around 11-ish. Here's a bunch of EK pics =)

Another visit to the Musuem

Visited President Carlos P. Garcia's home today with mother dear, hubby, miggy, ella and nana. Got so fascinated with the interior of the house, antiques everywhere, his medals, awards and his collections. We went to the museum afterwards, miggy and I's second visit so we just goofed around. We got to be the first viewer of their art display, they were currently arranging it when we got there. Got scared to go near a 500 years old skeleton (lester took a hideous photo of me there) and we went to the mall afterwards and grab ourselves some ice cream.

Halloween 2012

Really had no costume in mind. So hubby and I dressed up as #kittyperry and #brunoharsh. We ended up joining the best in cosplay contest for fun and of course didn't win. Hahaha. Really had fun that night.

Boracay Halloween

I am back from a fabulous getaway! Spent Halloween in boracay with my husband and my sister-in-law. I've been to bora before with my husband for our 7th monthsary as bf-gf. Back then we never tried any of the rides because most of it requires 5-6 persons. The only thing i remember we did was island hop riding a small boat and partyed most of the nights. This time its a lot of fun. We tried helmet diving, parasailing, ATV touring the island.. going to puka beach, birds sanctuary, the tower, boracay's mini theme park. And at night we mostly binge, trying out different buffets, and mostly lounging and chilling and watching fire dancers, their scary tricks and funny antics. It was a really fun vacay and its just the start. Hubby, sis and I are planning for some more fun adventure next month. Woot woot!
