Me and my home-made iced coffee float

Lazy day today. A lot has happened over the past few weeks and unfortunately I got so busy that I didn't have the time to blog. Today however was an exception, no work and all play for me for 2 days straight until the weekend. Office is under construction and Internet is down for upgrading. I've been sleeping late and waking up late like a boss.. Haha! I'm excited to shop and do some DIY decors for the office.. Anyways that's it for me today. I got some DVDs and coffee to slurp and enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Will truly enjoy my cozy afternoon coz its not gonna be for long, got another event to attend to tonight. Ciao bloggers! X❤X❤

What's inside your wallet?

This is what your wallet should contain
I found this on Pinterest, lays out what the average person should keep in his or her wallet

I thought it was cute, especially if you travel a lot or you know you will not be stopping by your house all day, it is better to have it all without carrying all of it with you.  What do you need to carry an entire checkbook with you around anyways?

Tip: clean out your wallet and toss those old receipts from trips the grocery store or fast-food places.  Keep receipts that are necessary for returns and exchanges.

This is what's inside my wallet:

Mostly ID's and cards. I have a separate card book for calling cards and emergency numbers I need to take note of. I carry this small cross I found somewhere on the streets and it has been my luck partner ever since 😊, some old pictures of me and hubby, healthcare card, a pen and a fake dollar souvenir we got on our 7th monthsary in boracay.

Nephews 11th birthday

Baby no more! He's 11 and smarter and wiser than he was last year. Lol.

We celebrated his birthday at our favorite seafood restaurant (prawn farm) with the whole family. And a mini celebration at home with his friends and the neighbors kids.

Parents 26th anniversary and Lester and I's 5th anniversary (May 1, 2013)

Another year with each other. I cant say it was a perfect year, but it was quite memorable. It was my Parents wedding anniversary as well, a simple celebration at home with few of our close relatives and friends to celebrate how thankful and grateful we are to have each other.

I don't know what give hubby this year, so i opted for a major haul in our favorite techie store. The huge gift box contains: electric massager, universal cellphone holder that he can use whenever he's driving or in the office, speck iPad case, cellphone case, a huge foldable box organizer for his work stuff that he can place at the back of his car. Wedding and pre nup collage pictures and card that i pasted on the box to personalize it. The cake was our gift for ma and da.

My 27th with the angels

Woke up surprised by the family.. Prepared a little get together brunch with cake and card with all their heart melting messages.

Went to the orphanage later in the afternoon, played and ate with them. Miggy and Ella gave some of their toys and Lester distributed chocolates and the kids went ballistic. They've never been so happy. What a priceless moment ☺

Went to the church and offered some prayers and we had dinner at our all time fave/trusted Resto This by far is the most memorable birthday I've ever had! 😊

Well spent Sunday

Another Sunday family day update. I know I haven't posted much Sunday outings lately, because it has always been a routine for us. Last Sunday we all agreed to have a quiet, lazy Sunday, we didn't go out of town or went to the beach or go malling. Instead we just spent it at home and did our errands. Later in the afternoon we attended the mass and just as we're about to go home we all decided to have dinner outside, a good excuse to not cook anymore and save everyone from the chores. Lol..

❤ Valentine's Day 2013 ❤

So here comes one of the busiest day ever! Everything is just chaotic, traffic is crazy bad, Prices shoot up of not only flowers and chocolates but mostly everything in the mall. Tsk. We couldn't go to the mall without being harassed.. Lol.. We were all hesitant to have dinner outside because we know its impossible to get a table without reservations. Luckily for us, we were able to get a table of 8 in Payag. (A famous grilled Resto here in Phil). But of course we didn't really chit chat after dinner because there were a lot of hungry mobs staring at us, eager to sit at our table. So we went home and had wine and cheese to cap the night.

Here are some pics of our dinner together, some flowers and chocolates husband gave. Parents gave some cutesy stuff as well. So happy I made it home this year for valentines day.

BFF's wedding

My two love birds, finally tied the knot. It was a very emotional experience for those people close to them two, after all the trials they went through, they still followed their hearts and their happy ending. Despite the long distance love affair, shyne lives in Melbourne and Vinny in singapore, they still managed to stick together and make use of what they have to stay connected. I remember back in college, shyne and vinny were two different soul, they don't have any similarities. We were all friends and we hang out everyday, thats probably why vinny liked and started courting shyne. I had a boyfriend that time and we would all hang out in this one place called lovers lane in dauis (its where lester proposed*funny) we would hang out there after class, at this floating Videoke resto untill around 7pm. After a funny not too long courtship, I finally convinced shyne to give vinny a chance, i told her to say yes march 8, a month after a said yes to my bf that time, that way we would have the same monthsaries. Of course mine didn't last (thats a different story) haha! But theirs did, and here we are marching and witnessing these two promise each other a lifetime of love and respect in front of God, their family and loved ones. Two down, two more. Now I'm rooting for my other soul sister to tie the knot real soon with her long time beau. =)
